Redissolve: Always centrifuge tubes before opening.Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100?g/ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage: Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days.
Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20°C for 3 months.
Background: Neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) is a member of the NGF family of neurotrophic factors and is structurally related to ?-NGF, BDNF and NT-4. The NT3 cDNA encodes a 257 amino acid residue precursor protein with a signal pESCItide and a proprotein that are cleaved to yield the 119 amino acid residue mature NT3.The amino acid sequences of mature human, murine and rat NT-3 are identical. NT-3 selectively promotes the differentiation and survival of specific neuronal subpopulations in both the central as well as the peripheral nervous systems.
